I had spent years at other agencies and I’d had enough. I wasn’t enjoying coming in every day. But it couldn’t be more different at Great Ocean Road Real Estate. It’s fun, I’m enjoying work again” Lauren said.
“Things were different from day one. For instance, my training was unlike anything I’ve experience before. It was incredibly comprehensive, but it was fun too. We got up to all sorts of things, like seminars, conferences and internal training, all around Australia”. But what about day-to-day life? Surely after a while the daily grind is the same? “Not at all” Lauren insists. “The new offices don’t just look different, they feel different. Less stressful and more enjoyable for us and our clients. I like being there. I mean, you don’t usually hear people laughing in a traditional old fashioned real estate office, do you? It’s not just about the offices though” Lauren continued. “It’s the whole cultural package. You always feel supported, our Directors and Managers regularly work with us, not to check up on us or anything, just to say hi and make sure we are ok. And that we’ve got everything we need. You feel like you can talk to them. Again, something I haven’t really experienced before. So yes, it’s fun. It’s a happy environment and it’s an incredibly exciting thing to be part of”.
