Our Backyard – Apollo Bay

An update and message to wish all of our clients and partners all the best for the forthcoming year and to thank you very much for the effort that has gone into building our business and relationships over the last 12 months.

In a growth environment, we have continued to focus on becoming the Region’s Leading Real Estate Agency whilst we are always seeking improvement, we are definitely making strong headway.

On that note, next year looks very exciting for us as we will see:

  • Large coastal office expansion with more coverage front from Torquay through to Apollo Bay.
  • The newly modified Great Ocean Road Real Estate branding campaign to highlight “the natural beauty and lifestyle of the area”. The campaign will run through all mainstream media, Surf Coast Times, The Age, The Financial Review, The Geelong Advertiser, 3AW, Win TV, Google Adwords, Realestate.com, greatoceanroadrealestate.com.au, Stayz and more.
  • The forthcoming expected launch of highway expansion from Geelong to Winchelsea with completion now expected late next year or early year after.
  • The next stage-approved funding of highway from Winchelsea to Colac.
  • Further enhancement to our online presence that is accelerating client bookings and property sales.
  • The launch of the smart phone and IPad technology for easy client use.
  • An additional focus on the ever increasing Asian market, working with partners into building relationships in the Chinese sector.

We have been working on these projects throughout 2013 and we are excited at the prospect and launching of them next year.

We have continually over the past 12 months conducted a lot of research to see how Great Ocean Road Real Estate is perceived by clients and guests and to whether there are opportunities to transform our performance from good, to the standard we adhere to “Great ”, in essence, we found that while our brand resonates strongly, the GFC has made the market more cautious about their personal investments. However, as the coasts largest agency in sales and accommodation terms, we know our clients’ needs and wants. Our rates at or near number one and our pricing is always competitive.

In fact the strength of our business and continuous improvements have driven continued growth. No doubt the significant investments we have made in our company, has been a real benefit for our clients, branches and staff.

As we develop more innovative policy and technologies in 2014, our capability to meet our existing and potential client needs will be greatly enhanced.

 

So in closing off, I am confident 2014 looks to be a really promising year of business.
