This week, we recieved notification from Vicroads that as a part of the $50 million dollar commitment from the State and Feferal Govenrments to upgrade the Great Ocean Road, funding has been allocated for repairs and improvements to be made in Apollo Bay between Nelson Street and the Barham River. Works are set to commence in late June and run through to October depending on weather conditions. These improvments are an excellent way of ensuring our stunning Great Ocean Road is in prime condition for the growing numbers of tourists and holiday makers passing through the area as well as ensuring the safety and accessability of roads for residents and property owners of Apollo Bay.
